Expedition Canoe Tripping
This class is for sailing canoes and kayaks designed for open water travel. The focus of this class will be topics and techniques helpful to those competing in a Watertribe type race or are planning a long distance small boat trip. You will assume all risks and responsibilities.
This Expedition/Watertribe prep class will begin at the Memorial Park on US 31, just north of Honor, MI on the Platte River and conclude in St. Ignace, MI. It is approximately 135 miles. This class is scheduled for August 23 through 30, 2008. You will provide your own boat, gear and food. Please review the gear and food list on the Kruger Canoe College main page.
